Frequently Asked Questions
Will the alarm ring if my computer is asleep or powered off?
Browser-based alarms require the computer to be awake and the browser tab to be open. For critical morning wake-ups when a laptop might sleep, we recommend keeping your device awake or using a dedicated mobile alarm.
Do I need an active internet connection for the alarm to ring?
No. The audio synthesis and timing checks are executed 100% locally by your browser JavaScript engine without external network dependencies.
Are my alarms saved if I refresh the page?
Yes. All active alarms are saved in localStorage and will reload automatically when you reopen the page.
